CTOnews.com found that OpenSea announced a 20% layoff in July last year, and after the 50% layoff, the number of employees is estimated to be only about 100.

OpenSea CEO Devin Finzer remains optimistic about the platform's prospects, claiming that OpenSea will redesign the company's business culture, products and technologies to boost the platform, and will reposition the company's team around OpenSea 2.0 to bring "significant upgrades" to the platform, including underlying technology, platform reliability, access speed, quality of service, etc.
