However, according to foreign technology media NeoWin, the new version of Microsoft Edge adjusts the position of the option to toggle the sidebar on and off in its settings. Previously, users only need to visit edge://settings/ sidebar to find the option "always show sidebar" in the first-level menu, but now this option has been moved below Copilot.

CTOnews.com Note: Edge users need to enable the "Show Copilot" option to turn on or off the sidebar. Turning off the "Show Copilot" option removes the Copilot icon from the sidebar.

While this may be convenient for users who do not use the Copilot feature, it removes the auto-hide sidebar option, making it difficult for Edge users to turn off the sidebar from the settings.
