CTOnews.com, Nov. 7, Thunder Snake took the lead in implementing the 8000Hz polling rate in the high-end wired game mouse in 2021, improving the accuracy and responsiveness of the mouse.

Thunder Snake announced today that it will further unlock Wireless HyperPolling restrictions through firmware upgrades, increase the existing 4000Hz polling rate to 8000Hz, and take the lead in expanding to six high-end wireless game mice.

The polling rate refers to the frequency at which the device sends data to the computer. The higher the value, the more frequently data is sent per second. If used with a high refresh rate monitor, you can get lower latency and smoother visual effects.

Thunder Snake launched a new generation of Viper viper 8KHz in January 2021, equipped with Razer HyperPolling technology, designed for e-sports players, native 8000Hz polling rate, ushering in a new era of game mouse in terms of speed, response and reliability, and setting a new standard for the game mouse industry.
