Selected creators will be invited to test this new award by the end of the year. Creators who receive invitations can activate holiday bonuses to start cashing in. CTOnews.com notes that Instagram subscriptions can help generate revenue by providing exclusive content to subscribers, and that there are currently over 1 million active subscriptions from creators via Instagram subscriptions, with subscriptions recently launched for creators in 35 additional countries.

Subscriptions are also available on Facebook, and Meta will expand to millions of creators in the coming months. To help creators build subscription communities, Meta adds more ways for followers to subscribe, such as through Reels and Stories on Facebook, and enables creators to offer fans a 30-day free subscription trial. Mtea has also introduced pricing adjustments so creators can change subscription prices.

In addition, Instagram gifts are now open to more creators around the world, including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan and more. To qualify for the gift, the creator must have a professional account, be at least 18 years old, meet the partner monetization policy, and have at least 5000 followers.
