On November 2-3, 2023, the 2023 "MIT Science and Technology Review" and "35 Scientific and technological Innovation people under 35" (hereinafter referred to as TR35) Asia-Pacific region launch ceremony and Youth Science and Technology Forum was successfully held in Yuhang District Future Science and Technology City, Hangzhou. This event invited nearly 80 academic celebrities, science and technology business leaders and capital representatives from home and abroad to gather together, bringing profound insights and valuable research and judgment to the trend of cutting-edge science and technology and the development trend of economy and society.

Since its birth in 1899, MIT Science and Technology Review has always been an advocate and witness of scientific and technological innovation, always paying attention to technological breakthroughs and their commercialization. Since 1999, we have been looking for innovative and technological young people under the age of 35 every year, that is, "35 people of scientific and technological innovation under the age of 35". At the meeting, the list of candidates for the new TR35 Global and Asia-Pacific region in 2023 was officially announced, and awards were given to the relevant candidates, and the TR35 candidates were specially awarded as "Honorary residents of Dream Town". The outstanding young scientists newly selected into the TR35 Asia-Pacific region have successively demonstrated their latest research achievements and innovative ideas, and the scientific and technological map of shaping the future world is slowly unfolding.

Yuhang International Talent month is not only an annual talent festival in Yuhang, but also an important window for the concentrated display of Yuhang talent achievements. On the occasion of the launch of the International Talent month in Yuhang District in 2023, Li Jie, secretary of the Party working Committee and director of the Management Committee of Hangzhou Future Science and Technology City, and guests jointly launched Hangzhou Yuhang's "Global Future Scientist Project" and "TR35 Asia-Pacific Registration in 2024".

Castro Neto Academician of the Royal Academy of Engineering of the United Kingdom, academician of the National Academy of Engineering of India, academician of the Singapore Academy of Engineering, Professor Seeram Ramakrishna of the National University of Singapore, and four top scientists, senior research scientist of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Fellow of the American Nuclear Society, conducted in-depth discussions on the theme of "how science and technology can develop".

It is reported that this activity lasts two days, and more outstanding scientists and entrepreneurs who are active in the front line of scientific and technological innovation and entrepreneurship will share their insights among the four sections of "infinite life", "infinite energy", "infinite space" and "infinite intelligence" set on November 3.

As the venue for the launch ceremony of TR35 global-Asia-Pacific finalists for three consecutive years, Hangzhou Future Science and Technology City is one of the four future science and technology cities identified by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and the State-owned assets Supervision and Administration Commission, one of the first regional mass entrepreneurship and innovation demonstration bases in the country, the core area, demonstration zone and leading zone of Hangzhou Chengxi Science and Technology Innovation Corridor key created by Zhejiang Province, and the future science and technology source, future industry leadership and future city sample land of Yuhang District. In recent years, the Future Science and Technology City has cooperated deeply with DeepTech and successively held top forums and summits, such as the TR35 release ceremony and the "Top Ten Breakthrough Technologies" theme summit, which have further enhanced the international influence of the local innovation forces of the Future Science and Technology City, and promoted the deep integration of global young scientific and technological talents and sophisticated science and technology with the development of local industries. Up to now, a total of 5760 overseas high-level talents have been introduced and cultivated. And nearly 10 TR35 winners have opened the way to start a business in Yuhang. Next, the Science and Technology City in the future will continue to adhere to the development strategy of "talent-led, innovation-driven, production-city integration" and always adhere to the service concept of "I am responsible for sunshine, rain and dew, and you are responsible for thriving". Efforts will be made to create an ecological environment conducive to talent innovation and entrepreneurship, continue to enhance the energy level of Chengxike Great Corridor, and provide the most powerful talent support for Yuhang District to speed up the construction of an important new city center in Hangzhou.

Yuhang District is the highland of scientific and technological innovation in Zhejiang Province and even the whole country. Alibaba's global headquarters is located. it has a large number of scientific research and innovation platforms, such as Zhijiang, Liangzhu, Lakeside and Tianmu Mountain, as well as a large number of scientific research and innovation platforms such as the Sino-French Institute of Aeronautics of Beihang University and the supergravity scientific equipment of Zhejiang University. The total number of listed enterprises reached 33, and the total number of national high-tech enterprises reached 2180. At present, the total amount of talents in Yuhang District has exceeded 390000, and the talent work has led the province for 13 years in a row.
