More than 600 teachers and students, community representatives and outstanding enterprises in the open source field from 23 universities inside and outside Sichuan Province participated in the event. In addition to the wonderful sharing of open source practical experience between universities and enterprises, the event also awarded licenses to the "Open Atomic Open Source Society" of eight of them. This event newly launched two practical and highly participatory characteristic activities, namely, the technical special session and the open source project classroom, which were participated by the main open source projects of domestic leading enterprises, and introduced the high-standard open atom open source competition with a total prize of 50 million yuan, which inspired teachers and students to participate in the competition.

"Open Atomic School Source Bank" is a long-term public welfare project launched by Open Atomic Open Source Association, which aims to promote open source culture, train open source talents, promote open source practice and prosper open source ecology. The project guides teachers and students to join the cause of open source by subsidizing schools to set up open source societies, promote open source courses, set up open source grants and cultivate open source mentors, so as to obtain rapid promotion and new space for development.

The University of Electronic Science and Technology is one of the earliest colleges and universities to carry out open source practice in China, and it has accumulated rich experience in the fields of using open source mode to train talents and transform scientific research achievements. The keynote speech "Open Source practice sharing of the University of Electronic Science and Technology" brought by Zhu Guobin, deputy dean of the School of Information and Software Engineering of the university, was welcomed by the audience. In the three open source project classroom sessions held in the workshop model, students interact with open source mentors as technical experts on their computers for the first time. Py4OH author / founder of Shuhong Society / mass entrepreneurship and innovation tutor of the University of Electronic Science and Technology Shahe Science Park led the students to study the open source project OpenHarmony of the Open Atomic Open Source Association, and guide you to quickly grasp the development of OpenHarmony devices. Tencent open source technology experts Geng Hang and Dong Bin not only introduced the importance of data as a factor of production in the digital economy era, but also personally instructed everyone to get started with OpenTenbase open source distributed database. In the openEuler technology workshop, Zheng Zhenyu, Maintainer of the openEuler community, introduced the openEuler community and its main contributions, as well as how to use EUR community developer tools to build software packages for the open source AI framework.

The Open Atomic School Source activity has received enthusiastic response and recognition from teachers and students in colleges and universities. in 2023, Open Atomic Open Source will sign contracts with more than 60 universities from double-first-class universities and 33 characteristic software schools. at present, it has carried out the routine operation of associations in more than 40 colleges and universities, trained more than 400 open source ambassadors, and held more than 80 open source activities. In the next three years, the association plans to support the construction of 200 open source societies in domestic universities, jointly launch more than 200 open source courses, organize 300 open source related activities, train more than 1000 open source ambassadors, and strive to reach more than 100000 students. to turn the campus into a source of open source culture and fertile ground for high-quality open source projects.
