Build an open source future and cultivate students' talents

OpenHarmony is an open source project incubated and operated by Open Atomic Open Source Association (OpenAtomFoundation). The goal is to build a framework and platform of intelligent terminal device operating system for full scene, full connection, fully intelligent era and based on open source, so as to promote the prosperity and development of the Internet of everything industry. Industry innovation, talent first. In order to train more application-oriented talents and effective links with the needs of the industry, and to attract more university teachers and students to participate in the development and application of OpenHarmony, this year, the working Committee of OpenHarmony Project Group and the Technical steering Committee of OpenHarmony Project Group jointly launched the first OpenHarmony Competition training Camp. With the mode of practical competition and empowering training, the training camp helps college teachers and students to fully grasp and make use of OpenHarmony to achieve the completion of industry demand and tripartite database, promote the construction and development of OpenHarmony ecosystem, promote technological innovation and knowledge sharing, and inject new vitality and power into the development of the industry.

This year's OpenHarmony competition training camp is divided into registration, work development, empowerment training, submission of works, work publicity, finals and other links. Among them, enabling training includes technical empowerment, online live training, offline core city roadshow training. The organizers invited OpenHarmony industry enabling experts, tripartite database field experts, TSC experts and university teachers as technical guidance and judges to provide professional technical guidance, training and project evaluation for participants to improve the quality and competitiveness of their works.

In addition, the OpenHarmony Competition training Camp encourages participants to actively participate in the OpenHarmony open source community and Laval community in the process of work development, making use of the community's rich documentation, code, development tools and other resources to optimize the work. At the same time, the training camp is equipped with special community assistants to solve problems for the contestants to promote the healthy development of the OpenHarmony ecosystem through active interactive Q & An and open source cooperation.

The results of hands-on practice are emerging, and the open source talents can be expected in the future.

Start with the end and focus on reality. The purpose of the training camp is to encourage university talents to use OpenHarmony as the technical base to solve more specific problems. Many innovative highlights have emerged in the award-winning team work, which fully reflects the good momentum and great potential of open source ecological construction.

The first prize selection industry enabled the Huazhong University of Science and Technology "name tentative team" team of the competition team, the work of the hospital bed inspection terminal submitted by them, to obtain the key data of patients on the hospital bed more quickly and easily, thus improving the inspection efficiency, helping to meet the needs of the industry, and making outstanding contributions to the construction and development of the ecosystem of the OpenHarmony industry.

Jinling Institute of Science and Technology "I am a rapper" team, Shanghai Jiaotong University "Almony" team won the second prize. As the dark horse of this competition, the entry submitted by the "I am a rapper" team is a lightweight charting component library, providing rich chart types and flexible customization options, so that users can easily create exquisite and intuitive charts, which can enhance the ability of OpenHarmony in data visualization.

In this competition, the teams that won the third prize are: "Xiaogong World No. 1" team of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, "how will your Excellency respond to the team" and "1024 team". The "Almony" team of Shanghai Jiaotong University won the Innovation Award. The teams that won the excellence awards were team 2 of Xi'an Jiaotong University, "Little Honey" of Wuhan University, "622 teams of six houses" of Dalian University of Technology, "708 houses of men" and "goo goo team" of Lanzhou University.

It is worth mentioning that a number of works from the tripartite library track of the OpenHarmony competition training camp have met the requirements for integration into the backbone of the OpenHarmony community. After completing the access control review, they will be available to all developers for access and use.
