In September 2023, vehicle imports fell 7.2% month-on-month, 11.2% year-on-year, and vehicle imports dropped 8.1% month-on-month and 8.2% year-on-year.

From January to September 2023, vehicle imports fell 17% from a year earlier; vehicle imports fell 18.9% from a year earlier.

Tuyuan PexelsCTOnews.com found from the chart that in September 2023, compared with the previous month, the import of cars decreased rapidly, while the import of minibuses and off-road vehicles increased; compared with the same period last year, the imports of the three major types of vehicles all decreased in varying degrees, of which off-road vehicles showed a significant decline. The above three categories of automobiles account for 91.5% of the total automobile imports.
