CTOnews.com November 5, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that Apple Vision Pro will only be sold in "our store".

Cook made the remarks on Apple's fourth-quarter earnings call yesterday. When asked by an investment banking consulting firm whether the Vision Pro sale would be like Apple Watch or AirPods, Cook replied: "I would say, no. Vision Pro is an unprecedented product. So, we deliberately launch it only in our store, so we can really focus a lot of attention on its last mile. We will provide a demonstration in the store, which will be a very different process from the normal take-and-go process. "

It's not clear whether Cook means that the Vision Pro can only be bought in physical Apple stores, or just means it won't be sold at other retailers such as Best Buy. CTOnews.com noted that Apple's Vision Pro website currently shows "launch in the United States early next year," while previously it was "available in apple.com and Apple stores in the United States early next year."

Bloomberg's Mark German reported in June that Apple plans to let people try out the Vision Pro and find the best headband for their headbands at Apple stores. Apple is even considering asking for an appointment, just like the original Apple Watch launched in 2015.

The Vision Pro is the "most complex" device designed by Apple, and Sony is reported to be able to produce less than half a million microOLED screens a year. Cook recently confirmed that the Touxian is still scheduled to go on sale in early 2024.
