CTOnews.com, Nov. 4, according to a list published by the U.S. Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO), Microsoft recently obtained a technology patent introducing a new system for Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 applications that can recommend new features based on users' preferences.

According to the Microsoft patent, different users may interact and experience differently when using services, social media or collaborative sites. When Microsoft promotes new UI or new features, these changes may make users feel uncomfortable and uneasy.

Microsoft has designed a new functional push system for this purpose, which does not stop updating Microsoft 365 or other applications, but uses machine learning, intelligent user experience and collaborative services to better understand user behavior through the relevant data collected.

According to these user behavior indicators, Microsoft will personalize the evaluation of new features and recommend different new features for different users.

CTOnews.com Note: Microsoft can set a threshold for each new feature, then compare the user's preference score, and update it if it is equal to or greater than the threshold; if not, it will not be updated.

The system is completely intelligent, does not require manual input, and can operate on its own, but the technology can be verified and adjusted by the IT manager or the organization manager.
