According to CTOnews.com news on November 3, Jaguar Land Rover released financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2023 (July-September 2023), with revenue of 6.9 billion pounds (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 61.617 billion yuan), an increase of 30 percent over the same period last year, pre-tax profit of 442 million pounds (currently about 3.947 billion yuan), profit margin before interest and tax (EBIT) of 7.3 percent, and a profit target of 8 percent for the full year.

Revenue in the first half of the fiscal year (April to September) was £13.8 billion (currently about RMB 123.234 billion), up 42 per cent from a year earlier; financial free cash flow was £300m and liquid assets were £5.8 billion.

By the end of the quarter, Jaguar Land Rover had 168, 000 global customer orders and global retail sales of 106561 units, up 21% from a year earlier. Range Rover, range Rover sports and Guardian DEFENDER models account for 77 per cent of global customer orders.

In the first half of the fiscal year, retail sales in Jaguar Land Rover in China grew 21% year-on-year, accounting for more than 1% of global retail sales.
