Recently, hundreds of Xiaopeng P5 owners have publicly issued a joint letter to He Xiaopeng and Xiaopeng car owners and prospective owners, saying that they have not experienced the CNGP (City Navigation Assisted Driving) service previously officially promoted in the past two years.

According to the open letter, Xiaopeng released its first P5 car series equipped with two lidar in September 2021. He Xiaopeng, founder of Xiaopeng Automobile, announced that P5 supports CNGP and will open cities nationwide in the future. However, up to now, only 5 cities have partially supported CNGP, which does not meet the needs of cities across the country.

Xiaopeng Automobile released the next generation Xiaopeng intelligent cockpit system XOS Tianji during 1024 Science and Technology Day, supporting all horizontal central control screen car series (including sedan P7, coupe SUV G6, medium and large SUV G9 and upcoming MPV X9), but did not mention G3 and P5 vertical central control screen car series. According to the open letter, the owner tried to contact the official but got a response that "because P5 is a vertical screen, it does not support adaptation."

As of the morning of Nov. 1, 710 owners had joined the co-signer, and the number is still growing.
