According to reports, this mission belongs to the first full-size vertical take-off and landing (VTVL) and reuse flight test of a liquid rocket in China. The SQX-2Y rocket carrying out this mission is a type of verification rocket used to verify the vertical recovery and reuse of liquid oxygen and methane reuse carrier rocket.

The test flight altitude is 178.42m, the flight time is 50.82 s, the landing position accuracy is about 1.68m, the landing speed 0.025m/s, the landing attitude angle is about 0.18 °, and the rolling angle is about 4 °. The flight test mission was successfully completed with high precision.
