Combined with previous reports, the new car is likely to be a production version of the e:NP2 prototype released at this year's Shanghai Auto Show.

Honda has previously confirmed that it will launch the e:NP2 production car in 2024, and plans to launch 10 pure electric vehicles by 2027; by 2035, pure electric vehicles will account for 100% of sales.

As a reference, GAC Honda e:NP1 (Extreme Pai 1) pure electric model was officially launched in June this year, providing CLTC range of 420km and 510km versions, 175,000 - 218,000 yuan after comprehensive subsidy.

CTOnews.com query found that the e:NP2 prototype is based on Honda's exclusive intelligent and efficient pure electric architecture "e:N Architecture F." In terms of appearance, the new car was developed by Honda's localization team in China, adopting the forward-looking design concept of e:N Design and adopting through-type taillights.

In other respects, the new car will also be equipped with a new generation of Honda CONNECT 4.0 intelligent technology, power parameters and other information unknown, is expected to adopt e:NP1 similar design.
