From October 26 to 28, the 2023 China computer Conference (hereinafter referred to as "CNCC") was successfully held in Shenyang. At the 2023 CNCC conference award ceremony, the OpenHarmony project won the special prize of 2023 CCF Science and Technology Progress Award. Professor Mei Hong, chairman of CCF and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Professor Liao Xiangke, chairman of the CCF Award Committee and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, personally presented awards to the OpenHarmony project award winners on the spot.

The project named "OpenHarmony Intelligent Terminal operating system Base" won the special prize of CCF Science and Technology Progress in 2023. The project focuses on architecture-level innovation in the core areas of intelligent terminal operating systems such as storage, memory, scheduling and distributed basic mechanisms, and achieves industry leadership with a number of key indicators. The results of the project are widely used in national key industry terminals, covering, transportation, education, Anping, energy, aerospace and other industries, and some technologies have become industry standards. to make important contributions to the open source community and personnel training of operating systems in China.

The Chinese computer Society, founded in 1962, is one of the most influential national first-level societies. The CCF Science and Technology Achievement Award, founded in 2005, is mainly awarded to outstanding achievements with important discoveries, inventions and original innovations in computer science, technology or engineering, as well as international influence in related fields.
