And the quality of voice and videophone services are in line with expectations (the minimum elevation can reach more than 4 MOS points).

In this laboratory test, the network side uses the base station supporting NR NTN capability, 5G core network and IMS service server developed by ZTE Corporation, and the terminal adopts German science and technology terminal analog instrument supporting NR NTN protocol and IMS service to meet end-to-end business services. Among them, the satellite channel simulation uses German science and technology to support the simulation of Leo satellite ultra-high speed motion, dynamic delay, attenuation variation and super large Doppler frequency offset channel simulator.

China Unicom said that the experiment once again proved the technical feasibility of mobile phone directly connected low-orbit satellite communications and provided a business demonstration for promoting satellite communications to public users.
