The Federation comprehensively estimates that the wholesale sales of new energy passenger car manufacturers in October are 890000, an increase of 32% over the same period last year and 7% from the previous month. From January to October this year, it is estimated that 6.8 million vehicles are wholesale, an increase of 36% over the same period last year.

At the same time, the market advantage of new energy leaders continues to expand, with some leading enterprises performing strongly month-on-month in October. The total October sales of 17 manufacturers that achieved 10,000 sales of new energy passenger vehicles in September are estimated to reach 787000.

At the end of last year, the Federation predicted that China would sell 8.5 million new energy passenger vehicles in 2023 and 23.5 million in a narrow sense, and the annual penetration rate of new energy vehicles is expected to reach 36 per cent. The Federation said that the current state of the market was "basically in line with last year's forecast".
