CTOnews.com November 2 news, Microsoft recently updated Win11 October optional update KB5031455 support documentation, admitting that there may be a problem with Copilot on the taskbar in a multi-monitor environment. Because of this known problem, Microsoft disabled Copilot for users on affected devices before releasing the solution.

Microsoft has updated KB5031455 known problems, and CTOnews.com translates as follows:

For Windows devices with multiple monitors, after installing this update, when trying to use the preview version of Copilot in Windows, desktop icons may accidentally move between monitors, or other icons may not be aligned.

To prevent users from experiencing such problems, the preview version of Copilot in Windows has been disabled in a multi-monitor environment.

Microsoft is currently working on a solution, and more details will be provided in the upcoming update.

Another known issue associated with this update is that incorrect BitLocker drive encryption errors are triggered due to reported problems in some managed Windows environments.
