CTOnews.com, November 2 (Xinhua)-- Google Pixel 6 series phones were notorious for signal problems. Google has made great improvements on Pixel 7 series phones, but this phone is also reported to have weak signals. The latest Pixel 8 series phones seem to have been affected by similar problems, including a more serious problem, which is that the phone's battery runs out quickly when using the mobile network instead of Wi-Fi.

On Reddit and XDA forums, many users reported that the standard Pixel 8 phone had poor battery life. The affected users identified the Exynos 5300 modem on the Tensor G3 chip as the culprit because most of them experienced an abnormal battery drain when using mobile data. Some people say that when using a mobile network, the phone needs to be recharged after about five hours of use, while it can be used for about eight hours under Wi-Fi.

Some users have also encountered poor signal and unstable mobile data connections between the two Pixel 8 phones, with some claiming that the signal problems on the new Pixel phones are as bad as those on the Pixel 6 series.
