CTOnews.com, Nov. 2 (Xinhua)-- NASA is not only launching rockets, but is also preparing to launch a new streaming service called NASA Plus, which has passed its testing phase and will officially open to the public on November 8.

Unlike other commercial streaming platforms, NASA Plus is an ad-free, subscription-free streaming service. NASA said users could watch the agency's live broadcast through the platform and learn about its tasks through a series of original video shows, including some new programs launched with the launch of streaming services.

NASA's new streaming service is part of the organization's overall digital transformation, accompanied by a revision of its website and applications.

CTOnews.com noted that the agency also released a trailer showing the highlights of the NASA Plus streaming platform, including spectacular views of our Earth and outer space.

The launch of NASA's streaming service comes at a critical time when the agency prepares to send four astronauts to the moon again in 52 years, and the Artemis II (Artemis II) is expected to leave for the moon around November 2024. It will be the first time astronauts have explored the lunar surface in NASA's Space launch system (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft, and it is hoped that the new NASA Plus streaming service will provide us with a wonderful picture of the mission.
