CTOnews.com, Nov. 2, Chrome recently released a stable update of Chrome 119, focusing on improving browser stability, adding save, restore and synchronization options for tag groups, and deprecating and removing WebSQL and Permission Suggestions Service settings.

Existing Chrome browser users can click on the about Google Chrome > help > menu, or load chrome://settings/ help in the address bar to display the current version on the desktop device.

After the user opens the page, the browser automatically checks for updates and downloads Chrome 119. after installation, the browser needs to be restarted.

According to Google's official update log, Chrome stable Edition 119 fixed a total of 15 vulnerabilities, of which 3 were rated as "High", addressing inappropriate implementations in Payments, inadequate data validation in USB, and integer overflows in USB.

Google Chrome 119 contains many new features and improvements. For example, the browser's tab group feature now supports saving, invoking, and synchronizing tabs.

Chrome 119 has also introduced IP protection, which is designed to prevent websites from tracking users.

According to reports, Google will use its own proxy server for testing, the first phase will be launched for US users, and cover 33% of the experimental Chrome version.

Interoperability and compatibility.

IP protection changes the stability of client IP addresses, but does not make significant changes to existing websites. In this lab, the only domain names that are affected are the domain names owned by Google, including some domain names loaded by third parties. The client no longer needs a stable IP address for these requests. At present, other domain names are not affected.
