CTOnews.com noticed that Musk recently appeared on Logan's podcast and talked about Cybertruck. In the interview, Musk claimed that the bow and arrow could not penetrate the car's shell, but a more powerful crossbow might.

On Twitter, Musk gave a more specific explanation: "the door panels are bulletproof for almost all subsonic bullets." As powerful as it sounds, anyone familiar with guns knows that few bullets fly at subsonic speeds. In fact, subsonic bullets are a special niche area in the bullet market. Some caliber such as .45 ACP and .380 ACP are subsonic, but most other guns, including spring air rifles, are supersonic.

The bulletproof rating of vehicle standards is usually measured by .22 LR as an example caliber, which is a typical entry-level caliber that many people choose when using guns for the first time, and is often looked down upon by some gun enthusiasts as not real guns. However, the .22 LR is a supersonic caliber, and according to Musk, the Cybertruck cannot even defend against bullets of this caliber.
