CTOnews.com, November 1, Intel has now launched Core 14 generation i7-14700K desktop processor, its technology and architecture remain the same, compared with the previous generation to add four small cores, and improve the Rui frequency. The same is true of the new HX series. Geekbench data show that Intel's upcoming i7-14700HX is 8 big cores + 12 small cores.
As shown in the picture above, Acer's new laptop is equipped with an i7-14700HX processor, 8 large cores + 12 small cores, and the highest frequency in the test reaches 5462MHz.
By contrast, the current i7-13700HX processor is in the 8-core + 8-core specification, with a high-frequency 5.0GHz.
In terms of running points, the i7-14700HX processor scored 2921 points in a single core and 17475 points in a multi-core Geekbench 6. CTOnews.com search showed that the score of i7-13700HX in Geekbench 6 was 2725 in single core and 13332 in multi-core. After adding four small cores, the multi-core score of i7-14700HX increased significantly to more than 30%.
At present, Intel has not yet announced when to launch the Core 14-generation HX series processors.
