According to reports, Kia's sales outside South Korea were 214139 vehicles, an increase of 9.2% over the same period last year. In the South Korean market, sales were 42960, up 0.4 per cent from a year earlier.

Kia said SUV models led the company's sales growth, with Sportage selling 45110 vehicles worldwide in October, while Seltos and Sorento SUV models sold 33792 and 20008, respectively.

CTOnews.com noted that Kia's sales outside South Korea increased by 9.2% compared with the same month last year to 214139 vehicles, of which Sportage SUV sales reached 40403, while Seltos SUV sold 30784 and K3 (Forte) sold 18439.
