CTOnews.com, Nov. 1, October 20, Toyota announced an agreement with Tesla to adopt the North American charging Standard (NACS) on its pure electric vehicles (BEV) from 2025, and Subaru announced the same agreement today.

Subaru said that in order to provide customers with a wider charging network, the company will use the NACS charging interface on some Subaru pure electric vehicles launched in North America from 2025, and subsequent all-electric vehicles will continue to use NACS.

In addition, the company plans to provide adapters for Subaru electric car owners for CCS from 2025, making it possible to be compatible with the NACS charging network.

In June 2023, Subaru announced a new management structure and announced that "50% of total global sales will be pure electric vehicles" by 2030.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, another car giant, BMW Group, announced on October 28 that it would adopt the North American charging Standard (NACS) in the United States and Canada from 2025. The agreement covers BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce electric models.

So far, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Jaguar, Hyundai, Kia and other car companies have announced to join the Tesla NACS charging standard.
