CTOnews.com notes that OneNote for Windows also adds text prediction so that when a user enters some words, the application will try to display the words or phrases that may be entered next, which can save time. This new feature requires Microsoft 365 subscriptions.

In addition, Microsoft has added vertical tab options to the OneNote for Windows view menu.

Finally, Microsoft said that OneNote for Windows would add the previously announced Copilot AI feature in November. Microsoft said:

It should be noted that the above features are only available for OneNote for Windows, while OneNote for Windows 10 plans to stop receiving updates after October 2025.
