According to media reports, all orders for the highest-end H100 AI servers in North America are handed over to Hon Hai, and Hon Hai will be responsible for the follow-up orders for Nvidia B100 modules, which will basically be undertaken by Hon Hai's Industrial USI.

Market participants pointed out that H100 is currently the highest standard GPU of Nvidia, while B100 is more influential than H100 and will adopt TSMC 3nm process and Chiplet design architecture. Sources pointed out that Nvidia originally planned to release the B100 in the fourth quarter of next year, but due to the rapid rise in demand, Nvidia has advanced the release date to the end of the second quarter.

The report said that recently, it was reported that Nvidia intended to order, and now Nvidia's orders to Hon Hai have increased rather than decreased. The deep relationship between the two companies is indescribable, and it has also broken the rumors of "dropping orders". As the AI chip module is the highest gross margin product in the entire server supply chain, it is expected to significantly increase Hon Hai's gross profit margin.

Reported that Hon Hai has never commented on a single customer or order, according to supply chain sources familiar with the situation, Hon Hai has won all orders for Nvidia North American H100 AI server modules. Sources also revealed that Hon Hai and Nvidia are still negotiating orders for B100 server modules, and the two sides should finalize the details of the B100 order in the near future. Hon Hai is expected to remain the main cooperative factory.

It is reported that Hon Hai AI server business is mainly responsible for by its subsidiary Industrial USI. Since the beginning of this year, USI has continued to expand its cooperation with Nvidia, not only to exclusively supply A100 and H100 cards to Nvidia, but also to be the latest exclusive design, production and delivery supplier for Nvidia's GPU HPC platform. In addition, USI won the order for Nvidia's HGX AI server chip substrate for the first time this year, together with the already won order for DGX AI server chip substrate, which has become the largest supplier of Nvidia AI server chip substrate, accounting for more than 50 per cent of the market.

Benefiting from the strong growth of AI business, industrial USI released its third-quarter results yesterday, showing that Q3 revenue still reached 122.04 billion yuan in the same period in the company's history, with a net profit of 6.34 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 28.4%. Net profit in the first three quarters reached 13.5 billion yuan, an increase of 14% over the same period last year, and achieved double-digit growth in gross profit margin, operating profit margin and net profit rate core indicators, setting a record high.
