A few days ago, Patrick Little, founder and CEO of SiFive, released a blog called "The Road Ahead", which focuses on the future development of the company after layoffs.

The progress RISC-V has made over the past few years is amazing. The leap from deploying ISA for basic embedded cores to high-performance applications for consumer products, data centers, self-driving cars, and next-generation wearable devices is faster and more powerful than anyone expected.
