According to CTOnews.com, Huawei established a sports health science laboratory in Shenzhen in 2016 to conduct testing and research on sports health products and technologies, and opened Huawei Sports Health Science Lab (Xi'an) for the first time in 2020, demonstrating the innovation and application of Huawei's sports health technology.

Huawei Sports Health Science Laboratory (Songshan Lake) is by far Huawei's largest sports health science laboratory, with a total area of 4680 square feet.

Public data show that Songshan Lake Laboratory covers professional research area, ecological joint testing certification area, sports health scene incubation area, covering 80 + professional testing capabilities.

By 2021, more than 5 million users have joined the HUAWEI Research research ecology, the sports health service has accumulated 320 million users, and the global average monthly active users of sports health App has exceeded 83 million.
