The notice said that the protection of trade secrets is an important task to strengthen anti-unfair competition and an important part of intellectual property protection. The General Administration of Market Supervision has organized and carried out pilot work on the protection of trade secrets nationwide since 2022. The first batch of 20 pilot areas have actively explored in accordance with the requirements of the pilot program of the General Administration, and achieved good preliminary results.

In the second batch of pilot projects of Tuyuan Pexels, 15 areas, including Dongcheng District of Beijing, were added, and cities in six provinces, including Hebei Province, entered the pilot scope for the first time. At the same time, the pilot scope of the first batch of four pilot areas has been expanded, and the pilot effect has been extended to a larger geographical scope.
