In the first three quarters, the growth rate of Internet business revenue increased slightly, the total profits increased rapidly, and R & D funding continued to decline.

In the first three quarters, China's large-scale Internet and related service enterprises (hereinafter referred to as Internet enterprises) completed Internet business revenue of 1.0294 trillion yuan, an increase of 3.4% over the same period last year.

The growth rate of enterprise income in the field of network sales continues to increase. In the first three quarters, Internet business revenue of enterprises mainly providing online sales services (including commodities, agricultural and sideline products, integrated e-commerce, medical supplies, express delivery, etc.) increased by 47.3% compared with the same period last year.

Regional situation: Internet business revenue in the eastern region has maintained a steady growth rate. In the first three quarters, the eastern region completed Internet business revenue of 961.3 billion yuan, an increase of 4.5% over the same period last year, an increase of 0.7% over the first half of the year, accounting for 93.4% of the national Internet business revenue.

Revenue from Internet business in the central region totaled 32.95 billion yuan, down 9.7 percent from the same period last year, or 2.2 percent more than in the first half of the year.

Revenue from Internet business in the western region totaled 32.5 billion yuan, down 7.5 percent from the same period last year, or 3.2 percentage points lower than in the first half of the year.

Revenue from Internet business in Northeast China totaled 2.65 billion yuan, down 33.3 percent from the same period last year, or 6.4 percentage points lower than in the first half of the year.

The revenue from Internet business in the Yangtze River Delta region totaled 422.5 billion yuan, an increase of 13.1 percent over the same period last year, or 3.5 percentage points higher than that of the first half of the year.
