CTOnews.com, Oct. 31, according to a list released by the U.S. Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO) last week, Apple has obtained a patent for the MacBook, which uses a glass cover on the C side to respond to different input needs of users.

CTOnews.com is attached to an implementation of Apple's # 0435 patent in which "an area or local area of contact surface can be shifted or deformed outward to create a temporarily raised area", as shown in figures 1A and 16B below.

In the 49A above, the user can place the iPhone in the lower left corner of the C side of the notebook and charge it through an induction charging coil under the glass surface.
