CTOnews.com news on October 30, Chengdu Economic Development District Intelligent Network United car large-scale demonstration operation launching ceremony was held at Dongan Lake Culture and Arts Center, Longquanyi District, Chengdu City, marking the official opening of all-round cooperation between Chengdu Economic Development District and Dongfeng Yuehan to jointly build the province's first self-driving commercial operation demonstration line. Up to now, more than 50 autopilot operation scenes have been formed in Chengdu Economic Development District.

CTOnews.com learned from the official account in Chengdu that intelligent online connected cars will be in trial operation for one month from today. Citizens can book a car through 'Yuehuan Zhihang' Mini Program, which runs from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and rides during the trial period are free.

The two sides will take Dongan Lake area and the southern part of Chengdu Economic Development District as examples, invest 20 driverless feeder cars and 16 RoboTaxi, and explore a new public transport mobile service mode centered on "car + road + cloud + station + field".

In the article released in Chengdu, it is mentioned that there are two planned demonstration routes for Dongfeng Yuehan, totaling more than 30 kilometers:

First, the industrial tour line: study subway station-northern section of Beijing Road-FAW-Volkswagen Chengdu factory-Chengdu Aviation Vocational and Technical College-Volvo Chengdu factory, construction of 10 intelligent bus stops

Second, Dongan Lake sightseeing Ring Line: study subway station-Jiepai subway station-kapok hotel-Dongange hotel-culture and arts center-Wuyue Washington-study subway station, build 6 intelligent bus stations.

At present, the demonstration line is still in the testing stage and is expected to be open to the public by the end of this year.
