CTOnews.com October 30 news, Juwan Technology Research announced today, the world's first ultra-fast rechargeable battery professional factory officially put into production, located in Guangzhou Nansha Juwan headquarters base.

According to introduction, the factory covers an area of 189,000 square meters, with a total investment of about 4 billion yuan. It has been put into use with a production capacity of 4GWh. It is claimed to be "the only large-scale production and manufacturing of ultra-fast rechargeable batteries in the world for advanced ultra-fast or even ultra-fast rechargeable batteries."

The factory is a "parent factory" for the R & D and production of XFC speed cells and subsequent new energy storage devices and their PACK integrated systems, with a total capacity of 8GWh /year after full completion.

Special functional electrolyte injection and formation process, so that the battery can be charged at high rate and maintain a long cycle life.

Multi-component high-precision feeding system combined with raw material premixing system and high-speed homogenization system makes the prepared electrode plate have better electrochemical, thermodynamic and mechanical properties.

Special ultra-wide tab welding, different from the ultra-wide tab design of ordinary batteries, effectively reduces the resistance and temperature rise during rapid charging, and ensures battery reliability and safety.

Multi-layer coating/roll pressing innovative process, to achieve high energy density, long life, low cost conditions of rapid charging.

Strict environmental humidity/cleanliness control, higher than the industry environmental standards, to ensure the consistency of super-rechargeable battery products and ultra-high safety and reliability.

The battery developed by the company claims to charge from 0% to 80% in only 7.5 minutes, with a maximum charging power of 480kW and a range of 400- 500km.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Juwan Technology Research launched a new product "Phoenix Battery" on June 6 this year, with an energy density of 260Wh / Kg and a battery life of 1000 kilometers on a single charge.

Phoenix battery adopts thermal management technology, which increases the heat exchange area by 18 times compared with the traditional scheme, and can increase the battery temperature from-20℃ to +25 ℃ in 5 minutes; the battery adopts all-in-one cartridge structure, and the volume utilization rate of the system reaches 75%; built-in cooling technology, and the limit thermal runaway experiment does not catch fire for 48 hours.
