Through the DEMO demonstration on the spot, the new RGBD depth map completion can complete fast reasoning in 16 milliseconds, control the generation error to 0.1%, and achieve lower power consumption.
At the same time, through the deep fusion of RGB and Spot depth information, RGBD can generate a more accurate dense depth map, giving the mobile phone ToF camera longer distance, lower power consumption, higher signal-to-noise ratio and more complete depth information.
This also gives Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 three advantages in ToF shooting. One is "high fidelity", the generated AI model makes RGBD shooting closer to the real, and can maintain the accuracy of the original hardware sensor; the second is "fault tolerance", which allows a small amount of alignment errors, outliers and signal noise in the shooting process; and the third is "real-time", using AI engine real-time low-power processing, can support 60fps frame number transmission speed, so that shooting WYSIWYG.
