As for the rumor of "mass layoffs of up to 20%", Gaohe responded that "there are some false rumors that the so-called large-scale layoffs do not exist, and all kinds of data proportion is rumor-mongering information."

Previously on CTOnews.com: earlier this month, some employees in some workplace App revealed that Gaohe had begun to make 20% layoffs, while others claimed that some departments had laid off 50%.

According to data released earlier this month, Gaohe HiPhi Y, the brand's new model, delivered a total of 1556 vehicles in September, up 52.4 per cent from 1021 in August. HiPhi Y began national centralized delivery on July 30, with more than 500 vehicles delivered that month, with a cumulative delivery of more than 3077 vehicles combined with August and September data.
