CTOnews.com, October 29, Dongfeng Motor recently released its results for the third quarter of this year. Data show that Dongfeng Motor's operating income in the first three quarters was 9.167 billion yuan, an increase of 0.48 percent over the same period last year. The net profit belonging to shareholders of listed companies was 37.3047 million yuan, down 61.95 percent from the same period last year.

In the third quarter alone, Dongfeng Motor made a revenue of 3.77 billion yuan, an increase of 33.64% over the same period last year, but a net loss of 47.5694 million yuan at the same time. In terms of assets, Dongfeng Motor had a total of 18.491 billion yuan in final assets during the reporting period, and the net cash flow generated by operating activities was-413 million yuan.

Dongfeng attributed the financial changes to changes in product structure, lower gross profit margins and reduced profits in its main business.

CTOnews.com has previously reported that there will be a number of all-new sub-brand models of Dongfeng Motor this year, such as the medium and large sedan model Dongfeng e π 007, whose top model will be equipped with "scissors doors". It will make its debut on November 6 and start pre-sale at the end of the year.

The car is positioned as a small pure electric car and will be equipped with hub motors, solid-state batteries and super fast charging functions.
