CTOnews.com, October 29 (Xinhua) Apple will hold a press conference at 8: 00 a.m. on October 31, Beijing time. In order to promote the event, Apple gave gift boxes to some online celebrities, such as Lamarr Wilson. The gift box contains a pair of AirPods Max headphones and some "sweet and scary" snacks and drinks for them to enjoy while watching the press conference.

CTOnews.com noted that this is Apple's first ever launch event in the evening local time, probably to coincide with Halloween, as can be seen in the invitation in the gift box.

The invitation reads:

Halloween is coming, and Apple has prepared some surprises for you.

On the evening of October 30, we will reveal something special and invite you to join the online party.

In order to make your viewing experience more "spatial", we hope you can use AirPods Max to enjoy immersive listening, as well as some sweet and scary snacks.

Apple is expected to launch the next generation of Apple Silicon Mac computers with M3 chips, including a 24-inch iMac with an M3 chip and a high-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Pro and M3 Max configurations.

The theme of the conference is "coming fast", suggesting significant improvements in CPU and GPU performance from M2 to M3 chips. The M3 chip will use a 3-nanometer process and a new CPU and GPU architecture based on the A17 Pro design in iPhone 15 Pro.
