The study, led by the Brown University research team, is published in the journal Nature Astronomy. The team gained insight into Venus's atmospheric data, modeled what Venus looked like billions of years ago, and inferred and found traces of movement involving multiple plates.

The latest study insight into the content of nitrogen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere of Venus, and found that there were plate tectonics similar to Earth on Venus about 35-4.5 billion years ago, and its early plate movement was similar to that of Earth.

"an important conclusion is that we probably have two planets operating plate tectonic systems in the same solar system at the same time, a tectonic pattern that allows us to see life on Earth today," said Matt Weller, the lead author of the study.

This study supports the possibility of microbial life on ancient Venus.
