M2 chip 13-inch MacBook Pro sources said that the new entry-level 13-inch MacBook Pro codenamed "J504" is still under development and uses the "basic version of the M3 chip," but will not be released at the October 31 launch. The main models unveiled at this launch are the iMac and the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, all equipped with M3 series chips.

M2 MacBook Pro 13, shown above, was launched in June 2022 with an initial price of 9999 yuan. M2 MacBook Pro 13 will upgrade the old M1 chip to M2, the appearance is basically the same, positioning the entry-level model in MacBook Pro, can also be regarded as the active cooling version of MacBook Air.
