In the first three quarters of this year, Perfect World's game business achieved a net profit of 641 million yuan after deducting non-recurring profits and losses, down from the same period last year. The main reason is that objectively, new games in the industry have been released intensively this year, which has caused a certain squeeze on the market space of existing games; while the company has been affected by the product research and development cycle, fewer new games have been launched in the first three quarters, at the same time, the flow of games in the camp has naturally declined with the life cycle, and the contribution to performance has decreased compared with the same period last year.

At present, Perfect World is continuing to steadily promote the production, testing and launch of game reserve products. Self-developed mobile game products "Goddess: Phantom of the Night", "one punch Superman: the World", "perverse million King Arthur: ring", "Light Ink Land 2", "Zhu Xian 2", "Code: new World" and other games are in the process of active research and development. In terms of PC game products, "Zhu Xian World" and "Perfect New World" are expected to start a new round of testing in the near future; in addition, the original IP two-dimensional urban theme open world adventure games, the original IP two-dimensional fantasy theme open world games, and the domestic sci-fi animation masterpiece "Linglong" IP multiplayer open world games are also in steady progress.

The above rich game reserve products focus on "MMO+X" and "Card + X", covering a variety of types, art style and play design with the addition of new elements such as the second dimension and the open world, which is expected to continue the innovative category breakthroughs and excellent market performance brought about by the "Magic Tower" and accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the game business. At the same time, Perfect World is also actively exploring more application scenarios of AI technology in game research and development, distribution and operation, so as to further improve R & D efficiency and optimize player experience.

On October 2, the Chinese team won the gold medal in the electronic sports event "knife Tower" of the Hangzhou Asian Games, helping the Chinese team to celebrate the National Day of the Asian Games.
