On October 26, the second Beidou scale Application International Summit opened in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province. Jin Zhuanglong pointed out that the scale of China's Beidou core industry exceeded 140 billion yuan in 2022. "Beidou +" and "+ Beidou" are widely used in transportation, communications, agriculture, meteorology, electric power and other fields, helping various industries to speed up the transformation of digital intelligence, forming a good situation of in-depth application and large-scale development. In the future, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will work around the four aspects of "strengthening and expanding the Beidou industry, speeding up the application of key industries, promoting the upgrading of mass consumption, and promoting the international development of Beidou". We will actively expand the application of Beidou in industrial Internet, Internet of things, Internet of things and other emerging fields, focusing on typical products such as smartphones, wearable devices, vehicle terminals, and sharing two-wheelers. Expand the scale of terminal applications, and support domestic enterprises to deepen cooperation with global suppliers, promote Beidou into the international standards system, and inject new momentum into the promotion of global common prosperity.

Mao Weiming said that Hunan is an important source of Beidou technology and a demonstration area for innovation and application, and it has the unique advantage of developing Beidou industry. At present, it has basically built a whole industry chain covering space segment, ground segment and user segment. In the future, Hunan will strive to create a national Beidou technological innovation leading area, Beidou scale application demonstration area, and Beidou industrial high-quality development agglomeration area. To provide strong support for striving to realize the beautiful blueprint of "three high and four new".

With the theme of "the Northern Dipper with the World" and adhering to the international thinking and sharing concept of "a community with a shared future for mankind", this summit is co-sponsored by the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Internet Information Office, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the people's Government of Hunan Province. Wang Songbo, director of the Beidou Office of the Ministry of Transport, Zhang Jixian, director of the Land surveying and Mapping Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, and Shara Fat Gadimova, executive secretary of the United Nations International Committee on Global Satellite Navigation Systems. Hunan is an important source of Beidou technology and a demonstration area for innovative application, which has the unique advantage of developing Beidou industry. Hunan Province has studied and formulated several policies and measures to accelerate the application of Beidou scale. In 2022, the total output value of Hunan Beidou industry reached 38 billion yuan, and there were more than 60 layout innovation platforms, promoting the transformation of more than 60 achievements in the field of Beidou of the University of National Defense Science and Technology. At present, a number of industrial agglomeration areas such as the National (Changsha) Beidou Professional characteristic demonstration Park, Zhuzhou Beidou Industrial Park and Yueyang Beidou Navigation Application Industrial Park have been formed. 515 enterprises are thriving and basically build the whole industry chain covering space segment, ground segment and user segment.

Zhuzhou is a famous manufacturing city with a solid industrial foundation. there are 2 national advanced manufacturing industrial clusters and 6 provincial industrial clusters. In the past two years since the establishment of Zhuzhou Beidou Industrial Park, it has made great efforts to build the whole industrial chain from department component research and development, whole satellite manufacturing, constellation operation to scene application, promoting the agglomeration of relevant upstream and downstream enterprises and creating a good industrial ecology. Zhuzhou City is formulating a three-year action plan to build a Beidou demonstration application scene, speed up the creation of 45 demonstration application scenarios, and promote "Beidou on the horizon" into a "Beidou around you".
