The functions of these six categories are as follows:

Enlarge: enlarge the viewing angle of any image as easily as through a camera lens to see more scenes behind the center of the image.

Intelligent resizing: automatically change the shape of the picture to match the desired size.

Background remover removes or replaces the background of any scene when the image body is perfect but the background is not perfect.

AI Image Generator: the tool was released in beta earlier this year and will soon be updated to the latest version of Dall-E, and anyone who simply describes what they are looking for can create high-quality, ethically compliant visual effects from sources in seconds (which can be licensed at any time and available for commercial use).

In addition, after the image has been edited by the above tools, the user will be authorized and the original author of the image will be compensated accordingly.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, in July this year, Shutterstock announced that it would extend its partnership with OpenAI for another six years, allowing OpenAI to use pictures, videos and music from the Shutterstock platform to train AI models during this period.

Shutterstock first worked with OpenAI in 2021, when Shutterstock allowed OpenAI to use its images to train text to generate an image model DALL-E.

The Shutterstock platform has always encouraged AI and fully embraced artificial intelligence, but this also means that Shutterstock will face the challenge of copyright litigation caused by AI-generated content.
