As an annual revamped model, the new car has been improved in interior decoration and configuration, and will continue to maintain its competitive advantage in the B-class SUV market. Huawei is GAC GROUP's strategic partner supplier, and the cooperation project is still under way.

According to previous CTOnews.com reports, GAC GROUP agreed in July 2021 to the implementation of the wholly owned subsidiary Guangzhou Auto Ean New Energy vehicle Co., Ltd. and Huawei (AH8 model). According to the strategic cooperation agreement signed by GAC and Huawei, the two sides will build a new generation of smart vehicle digital platform based on GAC GEP3.0 chassis platform and Huawei CCA (Computing and Communication Architecture), with Huawei's full stack smart car solution, joint definition, joint development, and jointly build a series of smart vehicles for the future.

However, the project is not going well. In March this year, GAC GROUP announced that the holding subsidiary GAC Ean AH8 project has changed from joint development with Huawei to independent development, and Huawei will continue to participate in the development and cooperation of the company's own brand models as an important supplier.
