Wan Gang said, "We have cultivated the new advantages of electric, intelligent and low-carbon development, and made remarkable achievements in development."

He summed up his biggest recent advantages as follows:

The development of low-carbon vehicles has achieved remarkable results: the technical level of hybrid high-efficiency engines and advanced transmissions has been greatly improved, the pace of low-carbon transformation of traditional vehicles has continued to accelerate, and the average energy consumption of passenger vehicles has dropped to 4.1 litres per 100 km in 2022, down more than 50% from 2012.

The level of automobile electrification ranks in the forefront of the world: high-quality development of three-electricity system (battery, motor, electric control), power battery technology research and development, industrialization ability leading the world, and has reached the international leading level in terms of performance, cost, safety and so on.

Automobile intelligent technology accelerates empowerment: the development plan of "integration of vehicle energy, road and cloud" has gradually gained a broad consensus in the global automobile industry, and the application proportion of L2-level auxiliary driving technology in passenger vehicles is more than 40%.
