CTOnews.com news on October 27, according to foreign science and technology media 9to5Mac revelation, some Apple Watch users reported that after upgrading the watchOS 10.1system, there were problems such as fast power consumption and hot watches.

The media said that not all Apple Watch have the above problems, but from the user feedback collected so far, these problems are quite common.

The affected watch models include older models such as the Apple Watch Series 4, and there are also user reports of problems with Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2.

One user reported that his Apple Watch Series 9 battery life was less than three hours at full power, and another Apple Watch Series 7 user consumed 25 per cent of power in just 30 minutes.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that in addition to excessive power consumption, Apple Watch users reported that the watch was hot, especially during the charging process. A user feedback in the charging process, will receive: "due to the Apple Watch temperature is too high, suspend charging" prompt.

Apple has yet to comment on these issues. Apple's watchOS 10.1 release notes do not mention changes in battery life or battery settings. Apple released its first developer beta version of watchOS 10.2 on Thursday, but whether the update will solve the battery life problem remains to be seen.
