CTOnews.com October 26 news, Intel may not have released the product cover, but the accessories company does not seem to have anything to hide.

Arctic officially confirmed that Intel's LGA1851 platform processor, Arrow Lake series, released next year, can still use the existing LGA1700 heatsink.

While Arctic hasn't specified an exact release date for the LGA1851 socket, they've explicitly mentioned that Arrow Lake will launch next year, killing off the Meteor Lake-S series that some users imagined.

The LGA 1700 is Intel's desktop processor socket for 2021, designed to replace the LGA 1200 and is compatible with 12th generation processors Alder Lake, 13th generation processors Raptor Lake and 14th generation Raptor Lake Refresh, or 600/700 series motherboards.

CTOnews.com previously reported that the Intel LGA 1851 socket is close to the existing LGA 1700 overall, except that the number of pins has increased from 1700 to 1851.

For now, Intel is preparing to launch a new LGA1851 platform next year, the first product is the Arrow Lake series processor, which may adopt the name Core Ultra 200.
