From October 25 to 27, 2023, the annual meeting and exhibition of the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering was held in Beijing. Coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Society, the Society held a series of activities at the same time to recognize the organizations and individuals who have played an active role in promoting the development of the automobile industry and the work of the Society.

Weilai won the award of "Advanced Unit for the 60th Anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering". Li Bin, founder, chairman and CEO of Xilai, was awarded the title of "Outstanding Society worker for the 60th Anniversary of the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering". In addition, Shen Feng, executive vice president and chairman of the quality Committee, and Zhou Xin, executive vice president of products, R & D and operations, also won the title of "Outstanding Scientific and technological worker for the 60th Anniversary of the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering".

Li Bin has long followed and supported the Chinese University Student Formula Race. He launched the Chinese University Student Formula Series together with the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering in 2010. So far, the event has sent more than 40,000 talents to China's automobile industry.

Since 2015, Weilai has been named to support the China University Student Electric Formula Competition (FSEC). In the 2021 season, Weilai further launched its support for the Chinese College Student self-driving Formula Competition (FSAC).

In 2023, the "Weilai Cup" university student formula series will be held in Luogang Central Park in Hefei. This year, Weilai continues to work with the China Society of Automotive Engineering to deeply support the continuous innovation of the university student fleet by setting up the Weilai Award, donating teaching aids and setting up a team of experts and mentors.

Weilai will continue to cooperate with the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering to contribute to the prosperity and development of China's automotive industry.

On April 19, 2023, the press conference of the 2023 Ulai Cup Chinese University Student Formula Competition and Chinese College Student self-driving Formula Competition was held at the Weilai booth of the Shanghai Auto Show.
