CTOnews.com, October 26, according to South Korean media newdaily, Samsung is developing the first 3nm-based Exynos chip for Galaxy Watch7 smartwatch, which is expected to be called Exynos W940, which will be launched in the second half of 2024.

CTOnews.com note: since Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch4 in 2021, it has mainly used the Exynos W920 based on 5nm; the Galaxy Watch6 watch released earlier this year has an Exynos W930 chip based on 5nm technology.

The Exynos W940 is expected to be Samsung's first commercial 3nm chip, which may have a significant improvement in performance, resulting in a better interactive experience and extending the life of the watch.
