CTOnews.com, October 26 (Xinhua)-- Apple today released an update to the official version of watchOS 10.1, fixing a problem that caused the weather app to fail to display properly on the Apple Watch dial. This problem first occurred in September, when users found that even if the weather app itself was working properly, the weather app's dial would appear blank.

CTOnews.com noted that Apple said in a newly released support document that users should update their devices to watchOS 10.1 or later if they encounter a problem with the dial of the weather app.

If the weather app's dial still doesn't display after updating to watchOS 10.1, Apple says users need to reset their iPhone location settings. In the settings application, click Privacy > Security > location Services, then scroll down to the weather, click "never" to allow location access, and then click the original settings.

If this doesn't work, Apple recommends that users click General > "transfer or reset iPhone", and then click reset > reset location and Privacy to reset all privacy and location settings on the iPhone.
